Time to showcase some inspirations for your interior design. These are some rooms I’ve created to highlight what life can be like with artwork in your little world. It’s easy to get the look of a more inspired interior and I had tons of fun creating some room designs. I decided to share them just for fun. Those of you on my mailing list might recognize these as some of the more popular images from my gallery website. No matter the image, I love going in and playing with the room designs. For an interior design junky, it’s a treat.

I love making these kind of room designs. They showcase my artwork, yes, but they are also a great way to express yourself. I love going in and changing up the colors, textures, and just playing around with the placement of the furniture and whatnot. It’s fun! Well, at least it’s fun for me, I hope you enjoy these as well.

In some of these, you can see I’ve used the same image, so it gives you an idea of how different a piece of art can look in a different setting. Art can really change in a setting too. One of the tips I always give my clients is that, if you have a favorite photograph or even a drawing your kids have done that you really like, just giving it a proper matting and framing can really present it in such a different way. You would be surprised how different artwork looks framed vs unframed. It’s striking!

These days, we have metal prints which are very modern and have a wonderful texture to them. For a modern look, you can hang them straight on the wall or you can opt to have them framed for a nod to something more traditional. There are so many printing options, it’s great to get to not only pick a print but to pick a presentation for it as well. I love playing with all of the materials and trying out different looks.

There really is no right or wrong, it’s just what you love. I hope you find some inspiration in my room designs. At least I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them.

Until next time…
