Lady in a Pink Hat

I was in the mood for a portrait today, so here’s a portrait. This lady was very nice to us. She stopped to talk with us and even posed for several photos. I’m sure it must be oh so annoying to live in an area where tons of tourists and photographers plod through daily, trampling your proverbial daisies on a regular basis. She was kind enough and that’s all we could really ask, right?

In other news, I’m still working on a book of my images from China. Tentatively titled, “Beautiful Under Heaven,” it’s growing larger by the day. Perhaps I should have called it, “Heavy Under Heaven,” as, it would appear, that’s what it’s turning into day over day. It’s a labor of love and some days feels more like a chore than a love, but I do enjoy reliving the journey. It’s fun revisiting all of the places I used to go. I will be excited once the book comes out, I’m sure. Until then, you’ll have to settle for things like this.

In other other news, I have setup a Facebook Group. If you would like to follow along, you can do so here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/526875811841544

My group will contain some guided meditations, possibly some travel guides, and a few other goodies so feel free to pop on over and sign up when you get a chance.

Until next time…
