That Golden Glow

Venice at Night is such a wonderful place. As you walk the canals, the buildings all seem to share a golden glow and you hear the quiet sounds of the water lapping against the pavement, punctuated only by the sounds of an occasional opera singer practicing the craft off in the distance. I can recall walking the canals, enjoying this glow. At first, I wanted to do a sort of “spooky Venice” type of image but then that glow, the faint sound of opera belling across the water, the soft, quiet, lapping of the canals, made me realize it’s not a spooky place at all. No, it absolutely glows, and that’s what I captured here. This “Boat at Night” from Venice, Italy is available on Carol’s Little World at this link
Until next time…
