Greetings from Santa Fe

As you can tell (or maybe you can’t) I got my infrared camera back from lifepixel and I’ve started using it in Santa Fe.

I’ve had a great week here in the mountains-I’ve visited Photoeye books, the Andrew Smith gallery (home to some of the highest end photography in the world.) I met Joyce Tenneson (she’s really nice, btw.) I went for some great southwestern food. I visited a book publisher. I saw some most excellent work from the instructors here in Santa Fe.

The workshops have been fantastic so far-I’ve met some wonderful people. My class is actually full of some great photographers and some really nice folks.

I wish I could tell you a bit more, but I’m on a tight schedule-I’ve got to prep some work for tomorrows “final exam-‘ a slide show of student work, presented to everybody in the workshops. I’ve got to get my shots ready which, while it sounds easy, I want to have some great work and have to make up my mind before tomorrow. As you know, that’s the hardest thing to do.

I saw some snow too, btw-it snows at night but it’s warm in the day. God, I love this place.

Until next time…
