It’s Friday and you may already be a weiner so, like, here’s a picture for you. (The guy was just sitting so still while the car went buy and I just loved the hot dog cart so, click, there you go!)
No big plans for this weekend, only going to another photo/art workshop (this one on “Marketing your Artwork”) and hopefully staying out of the sun. It’s just been too hot to do too much of anything lately.
I still have not gone through all the Compact Flash from New Orleans. I need to finish making contact sheets and put those flash cards up (get them ready for Santa Fe, Mexico, California, or whatever hell hole ends up next up on my list.) I was also going to try to finish putting together my art bins, so I could finally organize my artwork a bit. I currently have it in bags from The Container Store and, well, let’s just say that’s hard (on me and on the bags.)
I have so much on my to do list, it’s crazy. Next week too is the 4th of July, and I get a day off, so I want to have a lot of stuff done before then. I don’t want to waste my holiday (it may very well be the only one this year where I’m not traveling) cleaning or putting stuff up in the house, rather than doing important stuff (like sleeping-yeah, sleep!)
Last week, I was “honorary” bartender, since our usual bar keep had car troubles and did not make it back from lunch. It was stressful, but kind of fun. I don’t know how to make many mixed drinks, but I think that I held the fort down long enough for our usual bartender to get his battery recharged.
I can’t wait for the 4th of July, so that I can recharge mine.
