This spot has it all: the perfect blend of architecture and nature, a reflection that could make even the most seasoned Instagrammer weep with envy, and a vibe that screams, “Come, sit a while, and forget your troubles.”

So, if you ever find yourself near a waterfront like this, take a moment to appreciate the beauty around you. After you soak it all in, think about getting after those opportunities in life you’ve always wanted. I’ve shared some opportunities for you, on this the start of the Lunar New Year. Welcome to the Year of the Wood Snake! Wood Snakes are all about shedding that skin; we can all be reborn, and celebrate opportunities for growth and renewal.

  • For those who were moved by the recent fires in Los Angeles, L.A. Photo Curator has organized a relief project. Called “PRINT-AID.” This one is a bit different so I am going to take some space to explain it here. Printworks Gallery invites you to sell one print ($100-$200) to support fire relief efforts.

You manage the sale and contributions directly to the relief fund of your choice. We are able to host but not able to deal with the logistics of shipping prints and accepting money.

You will be in charge of the sale. We won’t take a dime. The proceeds will go to any fire relief of your choosing because you will be in charge of all contributions. To find out more information and participate (which I hope you will consider doing) go to their website here: https://laphotocurator.com/printworks-print-aid-prints-for-fire-relief-
