The textbook (wikipedia) definition of “purity” is actually “free of pollutants.” While it’s true that this Madonna is actually anything but “free of polluntants” (she’s got some dirt around her, mostly dust and grime from being exposed to the elements) I thought she represents the most pure thing I could thnk of and so here she is.
Purity, in some ways, I’d guess, isn’t so much about pollution as it is about being clean or free.
