Winter view from my back window.
Muted shades and darker tones are here now thanks to gray skies. Bare branches and plants make for interesting studies in lines. As an artist, I’m trying to remember this now, for when summer arrives and warmer days are upon us our colors will be vibrant and foliage lush. We will have forgotten the look of the bare branch awaiting the first buds of spring. There will be no grey skies to speak of and clouds will give way to expanses of pure bright light.
