Keep track of what you keep in your camera bag for better results. Try to eliminate unnecessary items, limit yourself to one or a small number of lenses, and keep your accessories to a minimum for better results and a lighter load.

Amen to your post. I used to carry 2 lenses and a tripod. Now I take just one lens, and only bring the tripod for special occassions.

Lighter is better. It doesn't seem that way when we're packing up to leave home, but it really is.
Of course, I say that now. Watch me curse the next time I forget something at home. :~)
