It’s been super hot here in Texas. You know what they say, “if you can’t stand the heat, send some of your work off for exhibition.” What’s that? You’re mumbling something about a kitchen? Yeah, you should totally get out of that too and, go on, send your work out for exhibition. Here are some opportunities for you to do just that:
- The Art League of Baytown has a call for entries to be a part of FotoFest 2018. They are looking for work along the theme of “Meditation: Contemplating Stillness.” You can read more on the following link: http://art-league-of-baytown.org/fotofest-2018/
- “Shots” Magazine has a call for entries exploring the theme “Transition.” Details: https://shotsmag.com/pages/submit
- LA Photo Curator has a call for entry exploring the theme “Certain Places.” For more information, visit the following link: http://www.laphotocurator.com/current-call-for-entry-certain-places-curator-karen-klinedinst-deadline-august-9-2017
- The Center for Fine Art Photography has a call for entries with the current theme of “Portraits.” Details: http://www.c4fap.org/
I hope you get out of the heat and get into the exhibition walls.
Until next time…
PS This one taken in Georgetown, Texas with the Canon 5DS and the walkabout lens. Scenes from a bar on a hot day. Make mine a cold one, please.
