I can’t think of anything more emotive than a blues guitar player hitting just the right note. It’s raw emotion, unbottled, uncorked, let loose for all to enjoy.
I’m sure this week’s photo Friday entries will be filled with crying babies and pouting models-and rightfully so-that’s what most people think of when they think of “emotions” right?
But, somewhere, off in the corner, sits a quiet Strat with a story to tell. And, sometimes soon, somebody will pick up that guitar and start to whail about how somebody done them wrong or how she up and left. And that, my friends, that will let loose a whole rainbow of emotions for you. Emotions, it’s what blues music is all about.

Oh, wow, he looks great! Is this recent? Back in the seventies (early) he recorded in my father’s studio. To this day, we’ve got a demo recording thing of him forgetting half of the words to ‘Lay Down Sally’. Classic.
