I'm in love-cool iPhone app alert

Just found one called Plastic Bullet that emulates the look of plastic lo-fi cameras. Swoon!

Until next time…

Very nice! Had to have a look because I recently succumbed to the lure of an iPhone due to a number of reasons… and now I have to look for this app… AND wait for Hipstamatic to work with the iPhone 4.

Vagrant musing… is there anything to the fact that the word verification for this comment post is soave while you are showing us a lovely cocktail?

I love the look of Holga and Lomo cameras. I've used Photoshop to process this look in the past and, although I've still not gotten round to using it, I purchased a Holga.

Love it! Gorgeous effect! To think it takes forever to manipulate an image in photoshop to look like this! Thanks for sharing. What other photo apps do you recommend? I would love to hear about it.

Ann, you might be able to get an ipod touch-it's kind of like the iphone without the "phone" part. The new ones have cameras, not sure about all of the apps being available, but you might check it out (it might be a cheaper alternative for you?)

Victoria, welcome, welcome! I'm using Hipstamatic on my iPhone4. It works ok for me, though it has "locked up" a time or two. It's pretty good though, you should try it out. I was late getting into the iPhone too and only got the iPhone4 this July. Before that, I had a laughable "brick" of a cell phone so I've really leap-frogged too.

And, yes, we've totally noticed the word verf. on this blog is a bit, shall we say, freakishly apropos, sometimes downright wild.

Mark, I love my old Holgas. You can even get a Holga body cap for a digital camera-those are very cool, basically a Holga "front" with a digital back. Love it! But, yes, the Holgas are wonderful. I also use a Lensbaby lens a lot and that was designed to be a digital Holga of sorts.

Hi Scriber's! I just got this app and another cool one called "Camerabag" Wow! Two cool apps in one week. What is this world coming to?

I don't have this device, all things are possible digitally. It becomes an issue of limiting your palette. Like the shot, makes me wanna get drunk, mostly.
